Well, mom read to me this Yahoo News report and it seems the whole thing is fake, with the results decided by some people in advance! So I was hoping that we were getting an early spring because he didn't see his shadow today. And boy I could believe it because we had 70 degree weather today! I ran and played so hard out today that I threw up.
Now I don't know what to think. Well, I did see on Wikipedia that there are some other rodent rascals that predict the weather - do you think they are real?
Next thing you know I'll find out that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are fake too.
Anyway, mom and I wanted to share this film clip from one of our most favorite movies - Groundhog Day! And, for all my pals snowed in my the horrible blizzard, I do hope we get an early spring!

TW has told me it was a fraud for years. For one thing, with all those tv lights, he HAS to see his shadow. The other is winter lasts until March whether he sees it or not. BTW, we had an ice storm. I may be coming down to visit you.
Yeah, that Phil do be a fraud from wot I readed. Essex Ed here in Joisey be a fraud, too, coz he be the only one wot sayed 6 more weeks of winter. Chuck ofur on Long Island wot put the bitey on Mayor Bloomberg a cuppull of year ago, well, you just know he be fur real and he sayed early spring. Milville Mel in South Joisey be fur real, too coz he sayed early spring. So see, fur you it be coming true alreddy.
Hee hee! We have a theatre near here that is playing that movie for tonight only, but we're too snowed in to even think about it. Our groundhog didn't see her shadow, so we're demanding our early Spring!

he he - dat film clip is funny. I hate to burst your bubble on whether or not there is a real groundhog forecasting length of winter - yes there is a real one that does it in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. They bring him out every February 2nd. He did not see his shadow this morning. He just doesn't get the publicity dat the one in PA gets.
Oh Nose... who can we trust if the groundhog is on the take.

We used to live near Punxsutawney, PA and they drag that poor old ground hog out in the middle of the night. He's half asleep and would say anything to go back to bed.
